In reply to Ahmedmpower. Months later, I'm still thinking about this issue. I also had a Mid 2010 model (Mac Mini) and expected it to support this feature in Mountain Lion. But, it doesn't! It's the sneaky marketing with lies of omission like these that, IMHO, are damaging Apple's brand and stock value. Apple used to be honest with its customers! Get back to that, Apple!!!

Been trying it out for a day now (Internet speed 100Mb/s). Unfortunately the lag seems to be too much for gaming, and even HD video streaming. The lag occurs especially when watching high-paced action sequences etc. Applications as Spotify and PowerPoint are great with AirPlay, though. I wonder how XBMC and Serviio stream flawless HD video, and the AppleTV 3 still seems to choke.
