The problem is the 4k that Roku offers, or any television offers. You can’t see it unless you have a television the size as one in a movie theatre. It makes no difference, and is a business scam that unless people know the truth about the science behind it, 4k is irrelevant. Having a 32 inch television you can’t see beyond 720p resolution at normal viewing distance, yet there are many 32 inch televisions that have 1080, not because it’s practical, but because people want it without knowing any better. You save money by only getting a 720 which is all you need unless you go bigger. I have a 5k 27 inch monitor, and am nose close to it, and you can’t tell vs HD. Take away the 4k, and Apple TV wins hands down for it’s apps, games, and Siri, which is huge in putting in your passwords etc. Everyone likes to jump on board for the newest technology without understanding it, and 4k is one of those technologies that you pay huge amounts of money for, and it’s irrelevant. It’s not the huge leap like SD to HD was. And remember, you will be paying more for a bigger internet bandwidth for 4k content that you can’t even see.

The only thing Roku has going for it is 4k, except for a normals viewer is a scam, unless you have a 70 inch or more television size you can not see 4k. 4k is scam unless you are in a movie theatre. You can’t tell the difference on a regular HD set. Apple TV has the apps, an games, and Siri.
