Hello everytime I try any of the addons on XBMC it’s just cums up with script error all the time
Anyone help I’ve been trying to get help for about 8 months now

“access denied” can anyone explain? ATV2 is hooked up to my tv and on the network. I enter its ipaddress into my putty command and get connected, but from there on access is denied. Ive tried the default password “alpine” but no use can anyone assist me? I would be greatful for any advice!

Little more detail: Ive jailbroken my ATV2 using SeasOnPass, all went well. Now im trying to install XBMC 11.0… but access denied…

I installed Eden but I cannot find a way to access the system settings. Perhaps it was the skin that I had in place before I installed the update, but I’ve looked every which way and I just cannot find any system settings. What am I doing wrong.

Does anyone know if the new Eden supports DVD-ISO playback on ATV2 or ATV3. Seaching the web I can see that XBMC on ATVs has some problems playing DVD-ISO files.

This is one of the reasons you are finding it slow, perhaps… is the skin. The prettier the skin (image rich) the slower the ATV. As to the HD content… mine streams very well. The only time I see a stutter is when streaming 1080p over my home network, but this is because I do not have a crazy high SPEED at my home.

I’m not finding it all that stable but there are some very nice features. the “Metropolis” skin is so gorgeous that I almost don’t need to watch anything at all. I’m still finding that the ATV2 is too slow play HD…is that just me?

It is quite easy. If you update via SSH you will lose nothing. it will simply update the version of the software you are running.

SSH into the ATV2

and run the following:

apt-get updateapt-get install org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2
