The first gen is the still the best, throw crystalbuntu  linux and XBMC on it along with CrystalHD card and you have a fine 1080p HD media player. @ mkvXstream.blogspot.com we cover a lot of media players and the AppleTV 2 is also a very popular model. For some, 1080p may be a deal breaker that has them holding out for the ATV3.

Yeah I looked at that video; it’s either a mistake or just an outright fabrication. That’s not for an ATV3. Don’t know why that guy would do that.
