They did this some time ago, the iTunes festival channel was added last summer when I was running on 5.0.1.

Sadly, this update does not see to work on 5.0.1, which makes me regret not updating to 521, as I have no way to now boot tethered 🙁

Rebooting will do the job; which means a prior update (I’m guessing 5.2.1 or 5.3) enabled Apple to add channels to the Apple TV at any time
