Do you need a US credit card? Or can you sign up to Netflix with iTunes gift cards? I want to sign up from Australia and this would make it heaps easier.

I know..I will probably get one..I use the old one cause it has a 160gb hard drive...I bring it in the car with me and hook it into the AV system so I do not have to bring DVD's for the kid. I just want an update to fix the video switching to 720 on its own since I have it set to 1080 and sometimes it comes out of standby on its own..Not looking for a total refresh.
