I had no problem with the original update myself, but today there is another update.

The other “bricked” twice but then on the 3rd attempt worked fine.

Bricked means dead, not just a state of temporary inconvenience where you have to plug a cable in to fix it, FFS!

Grow up.

The other was bricked (ethernet) and needed a full restore via itunes.

When I chose “Play Later” the movie didn’t download, so when I came back later to watch movie it needed a 3 hour download.
Since Jobs left Apple the party is getting spoiled more often this way, with unclear terminology and features that don’t “just work”. And P.S. It takes 3 people at Apple to do what Jobs did, a CEO, a technologist, and an aesthetic designer. What a bargain we had in Steve.

I had to unplug AppleTV and plug it back in and it fixed the issue.
