AirServer for Mac has been recently updated to version 5.0.5, which adds Quad HD support. That means you can run AirServer on an iMac with mirroring optimized for Target Display and then mirror from another iMac with 1:1 pixel at 2560×1440 resolution (Quad HD). The new AirServer also fixes some Heartbleed related security issues.

Here is the full list of changes:

• Enabled Quad HD mirroring
• Re-added 1:1 pixel support
• Fixed Heartbleed related security issues
• Fixed iOS 7 + YouTube playback issues

AirServer 5.0.5 is a direct download only from the website for now.

AirServer, an AirPlay receiver for Mac and PC, allows your computer to receive and display AirPlay streams from your iOS device, or mirroring-enabled computer. Using AirServer, you can wirelessly share your iPad or iPhone display to your computer, and from there, to your projector, smartboard or HDTV.
