I use skype as my primary phone, so I’m familiar with skype, but on the ATV is it text chat only? I guess you could hear a call but not talk? does caller ID work with XBMC? or even better could I plug in my USB skype phone to my ATV? sorry new to the ATV, still trying to figure things out

It just gets stuck on connecting, and some menus freeze the apple tv so a reboot is required. I got the same result from Road trip, It got stuck trying to download the maps. Anyone else have these problems.

oh yeah for anyone trying to figure out how to load it, download skype, transfer it to the frontrow directory on apple tv. to install it follow, in same terminal code in the firefox awkward page.

To load the plug in, down load the skype plug in , mount it on your mac, then copy the plug in to the frontrow directory. from there follow same steps to install atv loader.

I couldn’t get it to work, both apps wouldn’t connect to the internet it seemed. I did get it to install though.
